Roughly 700 British soldiers were sent in the middle of the night to go capture and destroy rebel supplies in Concord. Battle of Long Island

The British plan an attack to ambush Washington's army as they retreated from the Battle of Long Island. (British win as the colonists continue onwards) -
Crossing the Delaware
Washington and his men cross the Delaware River as they lead a surprise attack on the Hessians in Trenton, NJ. The Americnas win handily. The victory boosts moral in the troops and inspires not only them to resign, but many others as well. (America wins easily) -
Battle of Princeton
Washington circles Cornwallis' army, and sends his men to attack a British garrison in Princeton.(After a dire start, Washington rallies the men to a victory) -
Saratoga
British troops were deployed on a small tactical mission to take over Saratoga, and did, but eventually were outnumbered by the American's counter attack on Oct. 7, and lost the town (British won 1st, Colonists won 2nd) -

As the British were leaving Monmouth courthouse, a group of American militia attack the rear flank of the Britsh force. They were pushed back, but were rallied by Washington and his sudden arrival (American victory) -
