The "Sons of Liberty" dessed as indians and went aboard a British boat and dumped all the tea into the Boston Harbor. -
Battle of Lexington and Concord
The British troops marched to Lexington and destoryed the colonists supplies. This started the revolutionary war. -
Out Break of the Revolutionary War
The night before the outbreak 3 men rode horses and used lights to signal the pariots tht the redcoats were coming. The Minutemen went and fought the redcoats as they marched toward Concord. 8 of the Minutemen were killed. -
2nd Continental Congress
Repreentatives from the 13 colonies formed the 2nd continental congress. While this was happening the war spread. The American fighters in New York captured Fort Tinconderoga. -
Battle of Bunker hill
This was the 2nd battle and the americans won. The americans won because they didnt shoot until they saw the whites of the british eyes. This battle was known as the bloodiest battle. -
Declaeration of Independence
On this day america declared its independence from the British. The British were not very happy about the patriots getting indepnedance. This was the best thing that happend to the patriots this ment the war was over. -
War in New York, New Jersey & Pennsylvania
General George Washington and his men were on offence. They crossed the icy Delaware River and went to New Jersey. The American troop went on with the element of suprize on their side to win the war. -
Battle in Yorktown
British set up troops outside of Yorktown and postioned weapons. they waited for other British troops to bring more supplies from New York. -
Peace Tready
A peace tready was signed to show that the war was over. It showed that America was concitered a country by the british.
