    In this battle General Washington decided to retreat like his battle plane and he ended up crossing the Delaware in really bad conditions like snow and ice and it was really cold to.
  • Lexington and Concord

    This was a mini battle between Britsh and America but it should not have even happened. Some person shot there gun and it caused a mini battle but neither side were supposed to shoot and then that shot became known has the shot heard around the world.
  • Bunker Hill

    Bunker Hill was a battle between the British and America where the British won technically but they lost a bunch of men and America would have won if they didn't run out of ammo. The hill was just a hill that faced the coast and the British wanted it so then when soldiers came in they didn't have to worry about getting ambushed or getting killed but America was really happy about the outcome.

    This had a great impact on General Washington's career. It was also a big turning point in this war for independence. They defeated a superior British army and it very much increased the moral of the Americans.

    Valley Forge is a base that America used to train there soldiers during the winter and protect them from the cold. Ir wasn't far from Philadelphia which the British actually captured from America so Valley Forge was a great place because they could train but also keep an eye on the british.
