There were 18 days in between the two battles,John Burgoyne, a British General, defeated the colonists, but it cost him. Despite the amount of soldiers he had lost he attacked again later. The second battle, on October 7th, he lost and had to stop. -

The Battle was a tie between General George Washington and Sir Henry Clinton. -

The Battle was when the colonists killed a lot of British at Tarlenton. -
The Battle of Yorktown
In this final battle the French and the colonists captured two British defenses. A a few days later the British General surrendered, and soon after that the British started to want peace.
