This massacre did not kill many people in fact it only killed 3. But it was very symbolic in the struggle against the British. -

This act taxes all tea coming into the colonies. This was almost an everyday tax for the average colonist. This lead to the Boston Tea Party. -
Boston Tea Party
Colonists were angered with new British taxes.
They wanted to show Britain that they didn’t agree with what they were doing.
Britain got even more mad and this than lead to the war. -
Intolerable Acts
The intolerable acts were an act that was passed to tax the colonists even more. This angered them even further and turned into the war. -
Declaration of Independance
The colonists wanted to form there own country and break off from british rule.
The British were butthert in a sense.
The colonists used the British anger against them.
