  • French and Indian War

    War between the British and French to be the superpower of the world. The French and Indiands, which comes from the name,teamed up against the British. The British won the war with help from Catawba and Cherokeel.

  • Proclamatiomn of 1763

    Created by the British to stop the Colonists from moving west of the Appalachian Mountains to keep good trading relationships with the Native Americans. Most colonists ignored the Proclamation.

  • Stamp Act

    The British tax on all paper goods to attempt to make money back from the debt of the war.

  • Sons and Daughters of Liberty

    Sons and Daughters of Liberty were a group of patriots who didn't agree with British Laws and Taxes. The Sons of Liberty used violence and intimidation while the Daughters made spinning bees and didn't buy British goods.

  • Stamp Act Congress

    First time a meeting was held to discuss the Stamp Act.
