CIvil rights act of 1866
It was created to tell people that evreyone was equal no matter the race. It was vetoed twice by Andrew Johnson. But passed because of a two-thirds majority. -
Reconstruction Act 1
The first one stated that the states except for tenesse had to make a new constitution and to have a new person to represent the state. The second one is like the first one. -
14th Amendment
Allowed all afrian americans who were former slaves and were born. -
15th Amendment
Gave African American men the right to vote.
