In 1920 Ameila took her first airplane ride. And before the plane was 2 feet of the ground Ameila knew she was destin to take to the sky. -

Ameila took flying lessons from Neta Shook. Her mother and her sister helped her pay the exspences. -
Bought Her First Airplane
Ameila had finally earned enough money to buy her first airplane.She painted it bright yellow and called it Canary. -
The Offer
A man called Ameila and asked her if she wanted to be the first woman to fly across the Atlantic. She was spechless but did not hestatate to say yes. -

A publicsist,Georage Putman fell in love with Ameila while doing a story on her. They beacame constant compainons and Georage made sure Ameila's name was always in front of the press. On Feb 7th,1931 George finnally proposed to Ameila. She was very happy. Since then, George helped her write two books and establish her own fashion line. -
The Famous Flight
Ameila beacame the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic ocean ever. But due to mechanical conditions and icy wheather Ameila had to land in Londonderry,Ireland. -
First Person to fly aross the Pacific
Ameila beacame the first person to fly across the Pacific from Honolulu to Oakland,Califorina. She descrided it as takeing lots of tenacity. -
The Ambition
Ameila had an idea! She wanted to be the first woman to ever fly around the world!! Of coarse George decided all the legal afairs. But soon Ameila would be the first woman ever to fly aroud the world!! -
Her Death
On June 2nd, everything changed.
Ameila and Fred Noonan,her navigtor, had made it about two thirds of the way to the tiny island of Howland when the team disspapeared. The ocean was combed for weeks but nothing was found. Just in case this trip would be her last Ameila wrote a long letter to her faithful husband. The world was devistated their fly girl, Ameila Earhart was gone!!!!!! She and Fred Noonan were declared dead in 1939.
