I think this shows a huge achievement for Amazon especially since it hasn’t been a business for that long, it shows how fast things can grow with a little bit of hard work. -

I feel like this helped the company grow and become what it is today since people believe in Amazon and want to invest in it and it just shows that Amazon is one of the biggest online stores today. -
Amazon reaches 1 billion dollars
It’s now been barely 3 years that Amazon has been up and running and it has already reached 1 billion dollars, I think that’s such a huge reward to all the work Jeff Bazos put into this and the guts he had to take the leap of trying this. -
Amazon starts selling more than just books
Now this is where things really took off for the business, people started finding more things that they wanted and found shopping much easier. -
Amazon reaches Canada
This just shows how much Amazon is already growing with only being up and running for a couple years. -

The amount that the business has grown from this achievement, since China has so many people and they now have access to the website made the company go way up in sales, and they really started becoming known to all around the world. -

Amazon is always expanding and this really helped to getting more people to work for Amazon and help the website grow more and more -

This shows Amazon is expanding and trying to make things easier and faster for their customers. -
Amazon buys a robotic company called Kiva Systems
This really boosts Amazon because although they bought it for almost 800 million dollars, in the long run it could help since they wont need to hire as many human staff, and it makes things faster and easier. -
Amazon buys the Washington Post
Now Amazon is growing beyond just a website, they’re trying to be known everywhere and this is their way maybe of trying to reach different people. -
Amazon creates its first physical book store
Besides the new products that Amazon has started selling, and the money marks its made, making a store for the first time really shows how much Amazon has grown, its amazing to see how one thing started and then look at where they are today and see how big of a difference there is between the two. -
Creates their first smart phone
Now I did a little research on this one and it didn’t turn out to be such a big hit, its actually the only one they ended up making and so I added this to show that yes, it’s an achievement that they were able to make their own phone but not everything you do is going to turn out great no matter the kind of power that you hold. -
Amazon reaches one trillion dollars
Now I don’t think that anything could be more rewarding than to watch the business you made not knowing what would happen grow into something great, and especially this successful Amazon reaching 1 billion dollars so quickly is amazing to me -
Amazon opens new headquarters in Virginia
Amazon is always expanding and with the new headquarters they can create more things and get more staff to make things quicker and easier.
