Contestents leave Dallas on flight 234 at 1:50 pm and arrive in Los Angeles at 3:12pm -
Los Angeles to Hawaii
When the challengers leave L.A at 5:50pmon flight 421, they arrive in Honolulu,Hawaii at 8:32pm. When the challengers land they immediately rush to their first challenge. They take a cab to the nearest beach. -
Hawaii Challenge
The Changellers arrive to Honolulu. Once they get to the challenge area the challengers must create a Hawaiian grass skirt and grass crown. Once the judge passes the skirts and crowns the challengers will advance to the next round.
This challenge connects with Hawaii because its apart of the Hawaiian CULTURE(beliefs). These CUSTOMS(traditional practice) have been apart of Hawaiian lifestyle for many many years. The skirts represent the MATERIAL CULTURE(objects used in ones beliefs) in hawaii. -

The contestants head to The Modern Honolulu to get some sleep. They wake up at 3am and go to the airport. -

Chile challenge
The challengers must hike up to a salt mine in Chile. Once the challengers reach the salt mines they must take a pick and a hammer and break up the rocks until they find the one with the clue inside. This challenge connects with Chile because the salt mines are a CULTURAL LANDSCAPE (area that includes culture and nature). The salt is a type of MATERIAL CULTURE(objects that represent ones beliefs) for that area in Chile. Picking apart salt is also a CUSTOM(traditional practice)for this area. -
Los Angeles to Lima
The challengers then leave Los Angeles at 9:30am on flight 326 and arrive in Lima,Peru at 5:15pm -
Honolulu to Los Angeles
The challengers leave Honolulu at 4am on flight A-23 to go to Los Angeles.They arrive at 9am -
Lima to Santiago
They board flight 65 5:45pm and arrive at 8:23pm in Santiago,Chile -
Sleep
The challengers head to Santiago Marriott Hotel and get some sleep. They wake up 4am to go to the airport. -
Santiago to Panama City
At 5:02am the challengers leave Chile on flight 21 and go to Panama City. They arrive at 10:48am -
Panama City to San Jose
The challengers will now leave Panama City at 11:24am on flight 96 and arrive in San Jose at 11:46 -
Costa Rica Challenge
Challenge: Build surfboards and surf
The challengers have to assemble their own surfboards and surf them in the ocean. Once they are in the water the challengers have to surf around colored posts in order to get to the next round. This connects with Costa Rica because surfing is a POPULAR CULTURE (culture based on the tastes of ordinary people rather than an educated elite). Surfin is also a CUSTOM in Costa Rica. Surf -

Costa Rica to Atlanta
Challengers leave Costa Rica at 3am on flight 236 and arrive in Atlanta at 6am -
Venice Challenge
Challengers must construct a gondola big enough to hold 4 people. Once the judge passes the gondola the challenger must attract 4 people walking on the streets to ride in their gondola, then they must row to the end of the stream. Once the challengers reach the end they advance to the next round. Gondolas are a form of MATERIAL CULTURE(objescts used in those beliefs) in Venice. -
Atlanta to Venice
The challeners leave Atlanta at 6:45am on flight 59 and arrive in Venice at 3:23pm -
Venice to Frankfurt
.The challengers leave Venice on flight 43 at 7:05pm. They arrive in Frankfurt at 8:30pm -

The contestants will sleep on the next plane ride -
Frankfurt to Seattle
They then Board flight 427 at 8:56pm and arrive in Seattle at 6am. -
Seattle to Alaska
At 6:32am the challengers leave Seattle on flight 654. They arrive at 9am in Alaska. -
Alaska Challenge
The contestants must go white water rafting in a stream. When the contestants are in the water they must steer the raft and attempt to reach out the raft and grab a colored flag. Once the contestants have all of the flags they will move to the next round. White water rafting is a CULTURAL APPROPRIATION(element from another culture) in Alaska. It is also HIERARCHICAL DIFFUSION(spread of a trend). -
Alaska to Seattle
The contestants leave Alaska at 2pm on flight E-236 and arrive in Seattle at 5pm. -
Seattle to Paris
Contestants now leave Seattle at 5:45pm on flight 86 and arrive in Paris at 3am. -
Paris to Chad
The challengers leave Paris on flight 38 at 3:54am and land in Chad at 8am -
Chad Challenge
Challenge: Carry water on their heads and deliver to the town.
The challengers must gather water from the water hole with a bucket. Once the bucket is full the contestant must place the bucket on their head and walk 1.5 miles to the town. This connects with Chad beacause in most parst of Africa they do this CUSTOM(traditional practice). It is a LOCAL CULTURE(beliefs in that area) in Africa. It is apart of their CULTURE(beliefs) -

The challengers leave Chad at 11am on flight 93 and arrive in Douala at 1pm -
Douala to Lome
The challengers leave Douala at 1:35pm on flight 731 and arrive in Lome at 3:31pm -
