The invention of the cash register was significant because it helped with keeping accurate sales records. It also aided in accounting and embezzlement issues occurring at the time. It was nicknamed the "Incorruptible Cashier". -

Also known as mobile phones, allow telephone calls to be made over radio links. The first cell phone was demonstrated by Motorola. This cell phone as pictured was pretty large and weighed around two and a half pounds and could only store 30 contacts.
