Round Table Conference
Jinnah, several indian princes and few congress leaders met in london for the first Round Table Conference but it achieved little.
In 1931. second conference was attended by Iqbal and Gandhi. Gandhi made little impact on the conference and demanded majority rule.
After second conference, third conference was planned but was failed. The poorest hindu castes demanded that they shoud also have a separate electorate, but Gandhi and powerful castes were strongly against this.
