    APOLLO 1
    Apollo 1 was the first crewed flight in the Apollo missions and was scheduled to launch on February 21st 1967. It was known as the tragedy as astronauts Virgil Grissom, Edward White and Roger Chaffee lost their lives when a fire swept through the command module and ended up killing all 3 of them.     APOLLO 7
    Apollo 7 was the first mission in the united states program to carry a crew into space. As this was the Apollo 1’s objective but after the accident manned flights were suspended while the course of the accident and improvements were made to the spacecraft.     Apollo 8 was the second manned spacecraft mission in the United States Apollo space program. It took 06d 03h 00m 42s and the astronauts on board were Frank Borman, James Lovell and William Ander.     Apollo 9 was the third manned mission in the United States Apollo space program. It took 10d 01h 00m 54s and the astronauts on board were James McDivitt, David Scott and Rusty Schweickart. The mission was successful as it was the first manned flight of a LM and the first docking and extraction of a LM.     Apollo 10 was the fourth manned mission in the United States Apollo space program and the second to orbit the moon. It took 08d 00h 03m 23s and the astronauts on board were Thomas P. Stafford, John Young and Eugene Cernan. It went very well as the LM completed a successful rendezvous with Astronaut John W. Young in the command module.     Apollo 11 was the fifth manned mission of the United States Apollo space program and the first spacecraft that landed the first two humans on the earth. The astronauts on board were Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin Aldrin.     Apollo 12 was the sixth manned flight in the united states Apollo space program and the second to land on the moon. The astronauts on board were Charles Conrad Richard Gordon and Alan Bean. The mission was successful as it was the second space mission to land on the moon.     Apollo 13 was the seventh manned mission in the Apollo space program. The astronauts on board were James Lovell, Jack Swigert and Fred Haise. The rocket was launched but a major disaster occurred in the Apollo space program history when the lunar landing was aborted after an oxygen tank exploded crippling the service module.     Apollo 14 was the eighth manned mission in the united states Apollo space program. The mission objectives were to perform a lunar surface science, lunar orbital science, and operational/engineering. The astronauts involved were Alan Shepard, Stuart Roosa and Edgar Mitchell.     Apollo 15 was the ninth manned mission in the Apollo space program. It took 12d 07h 11m 53s and the astronauts involved were David Scott, Alfred Worden and James Irwin.     Apollo 16 was the tenth manned mission in the Apollo space program. It took 11d 01h 51m 05s and the astronauts on board were John Young, Ken Mattingly and Charles Duke.     Apollo 17 was the final mission of the NASA’s Apollo program. The astronauts on board were Eugene Cernan, Ronald Evans and Harrison Schmitt. This mission was the first night launch of the program and the first mission to have no one on board who had been a test pilot.
