  • Period: to

    “Prehistory”

I have labeled these years “prehistory” because I have very few clear memories of them. Most of what I know of this time has been told to me by others.
  • Birth

I was born in Houston, TX on February 12, 2001
  • Learning to read

My parents began teaching me to read very early. Reading has since become one of my favorite activities. My interests in reading have become centered mostly on nonfiction historical books (much to the detriment of my English classes) but I will occasionally enjoy a well put together novel. My enjoyment of reading has greatly enriched my life.
  • Period: to

    “Aincient history”

I have labeled this period “aincient history” because it seems to me as having happened a long time ago. I have many clear memories of it, but I do not remember everything.
  • Move to Mukilteo, Washington

Because of my father’s job, my family moved to Mukilteo, Washington. He is an aerospace engineer, and was going to work at the Boeing facility in Everett. Mukilteo is a suburb of Seattle, and is located about 20 miles to the south of the city.
  • Period: to

    “Modern history”

I have labeled this period “modern history” because it is the most recent and I can remember its events clearly
  • Move to Greenville, South Carolina

My family moved to Greenville, South Carolina for a year so my father could work at the Lockheed Martin facility located there. This experience provided me an introduction to some interesting subcultures.
  • Move back to Mukilteo, Washington

After working in South Carolina for a year, my father returned to his old job in Washington. This provided me an opportunity to reunite with old friends for two years before moving again.
  • Traveled to Canada

My family went on a vacation to Canada in 2011. This allowed me to experience another country for the first time. I tried my hand at skiing, but was not very good at it.
  • Move to Coppell, Texas

I moved to my current location after my mother decided that we should be closer to our extended family in Texas. This is the longest I have stayed in one place, and not moving again has allowed me to forge many close friendships that will last a lifetime. Being close to family members has been very good. When I lived in other places, I only saw extended family about once or twice a year. I can now interact with them at least once every couple of months.
  • Begin Middle School

After moving to Coppell, I began middle school at Middle School North. Here, I learned many new things and met many new people. For the first time, I was able to study interests such as history and technology at school. Middle school seemed to me a great improvement over my previous educational experience.
  • Caveat Emptor!

I learned a very important lesson about being cheap in the year 2014. My interests in history and shooting drove me to want purchase a historical firearm. I eventually settled on a Soviet manufactured Mosin-Nagant M91/30. Though I knew the Mosin to be a mediocre performer at best, I bought it because I did not want to save another $75 to be able to afford a superior Mauser or Lee-Enfield. Though I enjoyed my new rifle somewhat, it’s lower quality showed and I regretted my decision.
  • Begin High School

Coppell High School has been an interesting experience to say the least. Here, I have met many new people, made many new friends and learned many new things. During my time in High School, I have become much more aware of and interested in the world around me. I have also had the opportunity to enjoy a number of interesting, high level classes such as World History AP and a Latin class that inculded not only language, but extensive study of Medeterranian history and culture.
