Her Death
Sadly, on August 31, 1997, Princess Diana died in a car crash in Paris at the age of 36. The PItié-St. Salpêtrière Hospital announced her death at 4 a.m. This was devastating to the world. A week later, millions gathered in England for her funeral at Westminster Abbey. She was buried at her family's estate in Althorp.
