Daltons's Model
He created the Billard Ball model.
Dalton discovered that All matter is made of atoms and each element has its own kind of atom.
He also discovered that atoms cannot be created or destroyed.
Dalton was born September 26 1766. -
Thomson's Model
Thomson created a plum pudding model
He learned Electrons have a small mass and a negative charge.
He discovered the rest of the atom is a sphere of positive charge.
in 1897 he discovered the electron a negatively charged part of the atom. -
Rutherford's Model
He discovered that the atom is mostly empty space with a dense positively charged nucleus surrounded by negative electrons.
the Rutherford model of the atom. -
Quantum Model
A Quantum is an atom consists of a dense nucleus composed of protons and neutrons they are surrounded by electrons.
The Quantum model discovered that it is impossible to determine the exact location. The Quantum Model is the most up to date theory of all times -
Bohr's Model
The Bohr's Model depicts the atom as a small positively charged nucleus surrounded by waves of electrons.
Bohr's model found out that these special positions are called orbits or shells. This model was created by Niels Bohr and Ernest Rutherford in 1939
