Philip is murdered by a body guard and wanted to conquer Persia, alexander becomes king and wnts to conquer Persia just like his father. he becomes king of Macedonia and Greece.

first fight with Persia but Darius sends litle amount of soldier so because he thoght Alexander was just a boy and couldnt defeat him, then Alexander won the first battle

2nd fight with Persia

333 BCE

Darius sends more soldiers but lose because Alexander use phalanx formation, Darius escape but Alexander captures Darius family and told Darius that if he didnt give the land then he would kill his family.

Darius offers a treaty the consisted that Alexander wouold get half of Peria but Alexander refused and wanted to keep fighting to get all of persia

last fight

331 BCE

Darius wanted to do a treaty but Alexander didnt accept so they fought and Darius was killed. Alexander becomes king of Persia

Alexander rules Egypt

after ruling Persia he goes to Egypt and becomes king. an oracle said he was son of a god so Egyptians loved him. he made a very famous city called Alexandria.

Alexander gets married

Alexander marries daughter of Darius and has more Persian followers

Alexander expands his empire

He keeps expanding for 11 years all the way to India. then he wants to go back to his home (Greece).

Alexander dies and his empire divides into three

when he dies his empire is divided, one for each general, one for Ptolemy, one for Antoninus and one for Seleucus. even though he died the cultures of his empire had customs and became the Hellenistic culture.
