Bell's Brothers

Both of Bell's brothers die of tuberculosis in the same year. After this, bell's family leaves and moves to Canada. Even though their family wanted him to come, Bell stayed. (Hylander 129)

While workibng on the phonograph, the idea of the telephone comes into Bell's head. He was always trying to help deaf people. Bell wondered is a membrane similar to the eardrum could be used to translate airwaves made by human speech into an eletrick current. Bell hires an assistant to help him and this person is Thomas Watson. (McCormick 10)
