Alexander Graham Bell
He was the inventor of many things. Without him we would not have the thing we love today, our phones. He had a hard child hood with death and sickness, but he rose to the top and gave the world things we love today. His legacy will live on forever. -
Little brother death and moving back home

The interests begin/ The move
1863-Alexander was taken to a machine that imitated the sound of a human voice and became very interested in speech and making another machine with help from his brother. 1865-The entire family except for Alexander who wanted to teach elocution and music when he was just 16 years old! College/Sickness

Older brother death and two big moves
1870- His older brother Melville died of tuberculosis. Bells father became sick but braved it out as well as Bell himself. New school and invention
1872- Alexander opened a school for the deaf called "Vocal Physiology and Mechanics of Speech for deaf students" in Boston. 1875-Alexander experiments with the phonograph (helps plot sound waves). first long distance call and big news
1876-Bell was on the receiving end of a long distance call from Brant ford (4 miles away). 1877- Alexander formed the Bell telephone company in this year. He also married the fine lady Mabel Hubbard of Cambridge. Fame and Atlantic call
