Albert Einstein is born
Albert Einstein was born on March 14th 1879 in Ulm located in Southern Germany. Einstein was a hostile and shy child. Einstein was also known as a peaceful person. This is significant since he will become the most influential physicist of the 20th century.(Sarah K. Bolton 176) -
Einstein gets married
The couple later had two children named Hans and Edward. They eventually get divorced and Einstein agreed to give her the nobel prize money if he won. This divorce was also the same year he married his cousin Elsa.(Biography.com) -
Theory of Special Relativity
Einstein had published the Theory of Special Relativity to explain how to interpret motion in different inertial frames. It was all his most circulated of the theories. This was important since it explained motion in uniform.(Louis Untermeyer 533) -

At age 26 he had a job as a patent examiner in the swiss federal office. While in between patents he would be working on special theories. Until finally he published his thirty page paper on relativity. This was important since it resolved conflicts with other theories.(Sarah K. Bolton 176) -

A global conflict that had the Central Powers against the Allied Forces. World War 1 had 9 million soldiers killed by the end of the war. This loss to Germany eventually lead to World War 2.(History.com) -
General Relativity
One of Einstein's Famous theories that he came up with. It determined that massive objects cause a distortion in space-time felt as gravity. This is important because it gave an explanation to the description of gravity. (Sarah K.Bolton 176) -
Revolution of Russia
This revolution lead to the death of the last czar Nicholas II. The government soon was over thrown by a radical named Vladimir Lenin leading the Bolshevicks. These changes would eventually lead to the formation of the Soviet Union.(History.com) -
Einstein wins Nobel Prize
Einstein wins the Nobel Prize because of his work on developing the law of photoelectric effect. He solved the paradox by describing it as light made of photons and not continuous waves. This was important since this discovery lead to the quantum revolution in physics.( Merriam Webster 319) -

The Wallstreet crash was the stock market crash. It caused the lost of billions of dollars. The crash put America in the Great Depression for 10 years. This was the deepest and longest downturn in history for western industrialization.(History.com) -
Nazis come to power in Germany
The Nazis under the leadership of Adolf Hitler are able to come to power. Germany was in a widespread of unemployment and economic depression so they used this situation to get power. Once they came to power Hitler ruled as a dictator and was the cause of World War 2.( History.com) -
The Atomic bomb
Einstein was asked by his friend to urge President Franklin D. Roosevelt to create the atomic bomb. Once Einstein wrote the letter to support the research Roosevelt started the Manhatten Project. Einstein becomes an American citizen
Einstein immigrated to the U.S in 1935. He was offered a position at the institute for Advanced Study at Princeton, New Jersey and accepted it. 5 years later he is officially an American citizen. This is where he will be doing his work for the rest of his life.( Isaac Asimov 169) -
United Nations formed
The U.N was formed during World War 2. It was designed to ensure peace and cooperation between world nations. It has been successful in keeping peace and Ensuring peace in the world. ( Jack Meadows 230-231) -
Retirement
He retired from his job at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton in 1945. Even after retiring he continued to work on things like the unification of the basic concepts of physics. He also formed the Emergency Commitee of Atomic Scientists to control the atomic bomb. (Biography.com) -
The Death of Albert Einstein
Einstein suffers an abdominal aortic aneurysm and is taken to the University Medical Center at Princeton. He refuses to have surgery so once he passed, in the autopsy his brain was removed for preservation. Einstein was cremated and his brain is now located at the Princeton University Medical Center.(Biography.com)
