Einstein noted that the photoelectric effect depended on the wavelength, and hence the frequency of the light. At too low a frequency, even intense light produced no electrons. However, once a certain frequency was reached, even low intensity light produced electrons.

This theory describes the relationship between space and light and how an object relates to a person/observer. Albert Einstein figured that the "speed of light" is constant/unchanging. With light it must travel through empty space at the speed of light. Time and length are never absolute/whole but rely on the relative motion of an object and the observer.

This letter was about how the Nazi's were gaining nuclear weapons and potentionally using them for mass destruction. Albert Einstein along with Leo Szilard, Eugene Wigner, and Edward Teller who all urged Einstein to sign this letter. The Manhatten Project was a result of this letter.
