  • The great compromise

    At the convention the deligates decided to compromise. They came up with the Virginia Plan.

    The delegates met in PA to fix the Articles of C.

    They came to the US, but the Appalacian mountains stood in the way.

  • Louisiana Purchase

    Napoleon sold Louisiana to Thomas Jefferson for 15 million dollars because he needed money. (Not sure of the month and day)

    It became the 17th state. The ohio river was used for travel.

  • Congress banned the slave trade

    Many slaves continued to be seperated from there home.

    James M. was president. Madison wated war on Britian.

  • The Indian removal act

    It forced the Indians to leave there territory.

  • Trail of Tears

    The colonists drove the Natives out. The NAs had to walk 800 milesto get to there set territory.

  • California Gold Rush

    James Marshell found gold along the American river. Other found gold in that area. This lead to the gold rush.
