Frank Whittle added the turbo jet engine to planes meaning the plane would fly with more force, making it faster. -
Boeing 242
This model was the first plane to carry 10 passengers that would have comfortable circumstances. It was made completely out of metal and had to engines. -
Boeing 307
This was the first fully pressurized plane allowing it to fly 6.096km high. This increased the amounts of flights because they could travel regardless of the weather as they could fly above it.
