Japan Invades Manhuria
The Kwantung army invaded Manchuria right after the Munkden incident. Japan created a state that was called Manchukuo that lasted until the end of World War 2. -

Italy attacks Ethiopia because to was to boost national prestige because it was wounded by the Ethiopians at the Battle of Adowa. Mussolini saw this oppurtunity as a chance to provide land for unemployed Italians and to receive more mineral resources. -

This action was directly against the Treaty of Versailles which laid out the terms that Germany had accepted. This was Hitlers first illegal act in forgien nations since coming in power in 1933, this had confused Grance and Great Britain. -

Germany annexes Austria
Austria was the first country to be annexed by Nazi Germany. Austrian's chancellor was threatened with an ultimatum and was given three days to answer or Austria would have been attacked. -

Sudetenland was mostly made up of ethnic Germans and Hitler gained this territory by naming himself champion of these citizens. When Germany annexed Sudetenland it became a vital turning point for the move towards the invasion of Czechoslovakia and the start of World War 2. -
Germany seizes Czechoslovakia
The Bristish Prime Minister signed the Munich Pact which sealed the fate of Czechoslovakia which basically ended it over to Germany in the name of peace. This part of Czechoslovakia was were 3 million ethnic Germans lived, it gave the Nazi war machine over 66% of Czechoslovkia's coal. -
Italy conquers Albania
Albania was already dependent on Italy, so they had little resources for the invaders. This date that Hitler selected was on purpose because he knew the British politicians were away on weekends and holidays.
