Boo Radley comes up multiple times in the book. He was part of the Radley family. Boo affects jem and scout because he shows them not to judge someone based on rumors.

Jem and Scout found gifts in a tree. This again and again means that someone had put the gifts there for someone else to take or for that single person to keep it safe as a secret. Creates conflict on why this there are gifts in a tree. This also creates plot.
