  • Doha Agreement

    An agreement signed by the US and the Taliban in Qatar. The United States agreed to a conditional withdrawal of all forces from Afghanistan by May 2021 in exchange for Taliban guarantees preventing Afghanistan's use as a base for attacks against the US by al-Qaeda or Islamic State.
