when Aelin was 12-16 she was trained to kill very swiftly and put her royal identity behind her, taking a new name. she became entirely different from her past background and lineage. To survive she endured great abuse when she failed as well as great praise when she succeeded however as she made friends she was able to reconnect with previous values/personality such fighting for freedom, great compassion, and kindness. after a long while she became the kings champion at the end of this stage

for a brief period while she was the kings champion she was involved romantically with a couple of her peers. here she learned about intimacy of different kinds as well as her own sexuality. after she left those relationships she understood her own desires better and was able to pursue a relationship which fit her well, she married this partner that was a equal and suitable partner for her

as she travelled the world pursuing the kings wishes she met new friends and was informed that she would need to fight the king of adarlan in order for her kingdom to survive and for her people to live. she is captured and ensalved but she sighs and is released. she creates a kingdom and better world with her found friends where there is peace and equality.

After the war is over Aelin gives land to her friends as well as put in laws to prevent much of the abuse that she endured. she becomes queen of terrasen ruling with fairness and kindness of a people that have fought and endured along side her. she lives out the rest of her days(that we know of) with her husband Rowan and her dog flatfoot as well as her friends. she is satisfied on the mark she has left on her world and lives in peace until her passing
