  • Camera Cell Phone

Cell phones had already been around for some years, but the first cell phone that had a camera was not around until the year 2000. And even then, it was very limited and unheard of. Little did they know that eventually all cell phones would have a built in camera.
  • Myspace

Myspace was debuted in 2003 and was founded by Tom Anderson. It really began to gather attention around 2005. While some interactive websites had already been around, Myspace was the first of it's kind. It really paved the way for Facebook and other social media to follow.
  • Facebook

Facebook came around in 2004 but really didn't get big for until 2009-2010. It was created by Mark Zuckerberg. Myspace was still around during it's beginning so Facebook was actually overshadowed at first. Eventually everybody made the move over to Facebook. Today it still has a lot of active users.
  • Youtube

Youtube was invented in 2005 by Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim. It was the first video sharing site that allowed people to not only upload videos, but create their own videos to share too. This really paved the way for Vine, and Tiktok. Youtube is still very active to this day even though Vine is no longer around, but TikTok has really blown up.
  • iphone

The first iphone came out in 2007, it was the first cell phone of it's kind. It ended up eventually replacing other big cell phone brands such as BlackBerry, Sidekick, Palm, LG Chocolate, etc. The iphone came with a lot of new features that enticed users despite it's higher pay range. It also was not a flip phone, and it's buttons were on the screen. It was not only convenient but added apps that allowed buyers to have more abilities in a phone.
