ADTR posted about the release and radio play of their new single on social media on March 11th. Using the radios hash tag '#Rockest record. Since release there have been multiple posts to get maximum coverage. Using social media is a great digital promotion device. Posts can be seen instantly by thousands of followers around the world on their own feed. Fans are also able to interact and comment on the post. The song readily available on Spotify & other platforms for instant listening. -
Paranoia realease (1)
Paranoia was released on march 11th. In an interview with Kerrang! (After the album came out) , the interviewer stated "Its like the album appeared out of nowhere somewhat" Jeremy responded "We just wanted the album to come out.. and hit the fans with a wave of AWESOME" This means there was no anticipation for the album at all, no one knew it was happening. Suddenly there was a massive rush promotion for it out of nowhere. -
Paranoia merchandise.
Here we see the first glimpse of associated merchandise with the new paranoia single. Merchandise is a great physical promotion device in itself. As fans wear their favorite new band top around town, it sparks interest among peers. They might ask you to play your favorite song as they've not heard of ADTR before.. Or peers could be already fans but haven't realized their's a new single available and your T-shirt has single handily prompted them to listen to the new release. -
Live stream of set at Self help festival.
ADTR set up a live stream of their set at self help festival. This is a great digital promotion device. It gives fans (or not) the experience of seeing ADTR live without having to pay. It also gives non fans the chance to get a feel and see if they like them or not. The full set is also available on youtube where I researched that they played their new single paranoia half way through the set. -

As you can see in the interview (3:00mins) Kevin states "Yeah its a one of....For now" This is a great promotional tactic as this single track release created mass buzz among fans on social media. It got people talking about ADTR again. Creating buzz and anticipation for a album that hasn't even been confirmed yet. -

This is a great digital promotion device. It keeps fans interacting and talking about the new single that's featured in the competition. They will also ask friends to vote for their favorite band. Sparking more interest among peers. -
Round 3 smash or crash
ADTR got to the 3rd round of cage matches before unfortunately being knocked out at this last round. However this competition went on for 3 weeks and exposed paranoia to a wide audience whilst keeping hardcore fans interacting by voting for the band. -

Being support to pop punk powerhouses blink 182 is huge promotion in wake of ADTR's latest single. This is a physical promotion device it benefits the band by -Massive lime light rubbing off from blink 182.People will buy tickets to see blink 182 possibly without knowing who ADTR are then really enjoy their music. Helps reach a wider audience. It gives ADTR a chance to test out their new material live and judge the reaction from the crowd. -

ADTR ask fans to send in live videos of their paranoia performances. This is a digital promotion device. This is great as fans get to see different aspects of the performance. Right up front where you could touch Jeremy's face, to someone recording a mosh pit. This is good promotion because people will get to see how fun and off the walls an ADTR performance really is! -

Headlining ALT press awards show is HUGE! To headline an awards show you really do have to be the best of the best. This is great promotion, as the event is plastered all over ALT press magazine & social media in previous months in anticipation to the event. This achieves maximum coverage to the public eye. They choose to perform paranoia as a teaser for promotion on the new album. ADTR Won their entry of Best Live Band

ADTR thank the fans for their continued support of their new single "Paranoia" After it has racked up over 3 million views on you-tube since release on march 11th. Although this doesn't seem much this actually helps build a personal relationship between band to fans. It shows they care. Getting that personal connection with fans can take your band a lot further as they're more willing to back/support you in various ways. -

Q&A is hugely interactive with the fan's, it's personal and fans really appreciate that bands take their time to interact with them. Giving them the incentive to support the band more. Fans also have the opportunity to ask any burning questions about the upcoming album during Q&A. -

ADTR feature in battle royals competition. ADTR get interactive with fans on Facebook and Twitter asking them to vote for them once per hour. Whilst this will keep hardcore fans interacting and giving them the feeling that they're helping support their most loved band. Another thought to conciser here with such relentless posting, that even if people are just scrolling through their feed and see this without taking notice, it can be subliminally planned in their mind to check out ADTR. -

Here we see the first release of bad vibes merchandise. This is both a physical and digital promotion device. Physical because you can wear the merchandise in daily life and be promoting ADTR. Digital because ADTR have posted about the new merch on various social media platforms. -

ADTR feature in BBC 1's "Rockalldayer" playlist and also come in for a studio live performance. Radio play is a huge promotion and radio 1 has a very big and varied audience enabling ADTR to reach an array of different people with different tastes. In further research, they play both their new singles Paranoia and Bad vibrations, as well as some old favorites. -
