    Hitler enters Rhineland
    Hitler violates the Versailles treaty. He orders German troops to enter The Rhineland, a thirty mile buffer zone between Germany and France. The cause of this was that the League of Nations made a weak attempt at stopping Hitler from rearming, which allowed him to grow confident about taking larger risks. This violation left both Belgium and France open to attacks and allowed Germany's power and strength to grow. also increasingly made Hitler more confident in his plans of expansion.

    Hitler goes against the Versailles treaty and begins rearming his military forces. The cause of this is because he wanted to undo the treaty of Versallies and the effect is he gained enough power to invade and annex additional countries and areas.

The cause of this event was to dismantle the Treaty of Versailles and expand the empire. The effect was that Hitler gained confidence due to the policy of appeasement by both France and England. This also left Czechoslovakia open for attack.

Six months later, Hitler breaks the Munich Agreement and takes Czechoslovakia. The cause is Hitler takes the Sudetenland due to the German-speaking people in the area and the area will greatly add power, size, and strength to the empire. The effect is that Hitler gained more land and could invade other countries and gain land and power.

    Once Hong Kong was seized, the Japanese invaded Malaya from Thailand and the sea. They finally reached Singapore and located the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. After intense fighting the colony surrendered, and within a month Japan conquered the Dutch East Indies. That included the Java Islands, Sumatra, Borneo, and Celebes. Japan then moved towards the west to take Burma.
