Atahualpa the leader of the Inca Empire was to be executed by being burned. Atahualpa did not want this because they believed if you were burned to death, the soul would not be able to enter the afterlife. In order to avoid burning he converted to Roman Catholicism. Battle at Cajamarca
Pizarro and his army battle the Inca people at Cajamarca. They ambushed in the Inca people. Many were killed and taken as prisoners. Many of them were unarmed and fell to advanced weaponry. I chose to focus on the Incan civilization because I have visited Peru before, and this is where the Incan empire was located. The purpose of this timeline is to show important events that occurred in the Inca Civilization. It shows and tells of their triumphs and downfalls as an empire, and has pictures for a visual aid.
