The g7 is a global group that consists of the world's largest economies. Founded in 1975 it was originally galled the g6 but then became the G7 when Canada Joined in 1976 -
The Montreal Olympics
In 1976 Montreal Hosted the Olympics, probably one of the biggest international events that were held in Canada. When planning and constructing everything their budget was 300 million but the price ended up costing around 1.5 billion because of poor planning and corruption. They didn't pay off the debt until November of 2006. -
Manitoba Liquor Commission Fined
The Manitoba Liquor Commission was fined around 300,000 dollars due to the cause of bad wages and price controls which was the first ever provincial corporation to get fined.
