Larry's Plan
Larry decides to give his farm to his three daughters to evade taxes. Two of his daughters are fine with the plane while one of them, Caroline, is worried about it so she is cut out of the will and kicked out. -
Family struggles
Ginny and Rose decide to turn their farm into a modern up to date farm. Larry continues to become ill-tempered and begins to ignore his kids. The kids and their husbands begin Monopoly night. -
Accusations
Ginny who is worried her father has Alzheimer's calls Caroline, who accuses her of stealing Larry's property. -
Whoops
Ginny finds herself falling in love with Jess and opens up about here inability to have kids. Larry gets in a car accident from driving drunk. After the crash Larry becomes even more bitter. -
Stormin Off
Pete finds his truck missing, and figuring Larry took it they go to find him. They bring him back and Larry calls his daughters some mean words. Rose opens up and tells how Larry raped her many times. -
Remembering
Ginny and Rose try to confront Larry about his abuse but it back fires on them. Ginny remembers being raped now and why Caroline was never abused. -
Miscarriage
Ty finds out Ginny had a miscarriage that she kept from him and distance grows. -
Truths
Ginny finds out from a fight that Jess and Rose had been having an affair. She buys poison to put in her food. -
The Judge
With Larry trying to sue his daughters for his land back, they go to court. Larry doesn't convince the judge and the land stays with his daughters. Ginny leaves Ty. -
Divorce
Lots of years pass with a few communication from Rose. Ty comes to ask Ginny for a divorce but she never agrees to it. -
Cancer
Ginny finds out that Rose is very sick and visits her to find her with cancer. Ginny tells Rose of the poison but she doesn't really care. She goes on to tell her Jess left her and that he wasn't a good man. -
Reunion
After Rose's death she leaves her property to Ginny and Caroline. They reunite and Ginny finds the sausages that held the poison still in Rose's cellar. Book ends.
