    This allowed the U.S. to send as much supplies as needed to Great Britain. This helped them a lot in the war and also kept the American people happy by staying out of the war.

    This event was very important in this war. If this hadn't happened Roosevelt would never have gotten the American people to agree to join the war in Europe and fight. The U.S. might have never joined if it wasn't for the bombing.
