Explosion of the U.S.S. Maine
At 9:40 P.M. on February 15, 1898 the battleship U.S.S. Maine exploded in Havana Harbor. There were 268 men killed. Out of all the people that were on the ship only 200 bodies were recovered and 20 identified.
