Moros y Cristianos
A four day celebration that takes place from april 11th to april 14th. 28 armies battle during this celebration. This has the festivals copetiters fundraising and working hard so they can make it to the festival and perform. During the festivals the people march with their own special bands and with the love of fireworks in all of them they light fireworks. -
Castellers de Vilafranca
This festival is held at diffrent times of the year but it is mainly in late summer and early fall. During Castellers de Vilafranca They make human towers. Since they are profesional they rarely fall but since it is in the nature it still happens. Whenever they fall it happens on the dismount. this is because they are coming down and if they slip then usually they all fall. The people risk injury to have fun and celebrate. -
La fería de abril
This festival begins on Monday at midnight two weeks after Semana Santa (Holy Week). It lasts one full weekend ends with fireworks at midnight the following Sunday. At noon, 'Paseo de Caballos' takes place. This is when all of the women ride in carriages with beautiful horses. In the evening some of the top bull fighters perform at Plaza de Toros de Maestranza.
