Between the two main people, which were Thomas Jefferson and Aaron Burr, Jefferson became president of the united states with the dominant ten votes vs. the four votes Burr had received. -
Marbury vs. Madison Supreme Court Decision
There was a decision to be made between James Madison the 4th president of the united states and William Marbury a judge. Marbury was trying to suceed to gain the power to be in charge of making the decisions invloving of law and Madison blocked that chance for Marbury. -
Louisiana Purchase
The French first sold Louisiana to Spain through the secret treaty.
Then later, the french got it back. Napoleon had no interest in buying Louisiana from the French, so the French offered a chance for the Americans to purchase the land. The Spanish turned down the offer also so then the Americans purchased the land from the french. -
Lewis and Clark reach the Pacific Ocean
They had left St. Louis, missouri to go on their journey to the Pcific Ocean. The purpose they had went on the journey was to find the "Northwest Passage" to Columbia River at the mouth of the Pacific Ocean. The "Northwest Passage" never existed. When they arrived they found the highest land in the north and created what they call a "Station Camp" -
Treaty of Ghent
The purpose of this treaty was to end of trading slaves and to make peace but war was still being faught when the word was spreding that they had made peace. By the time when people were finding out about ending the war, Andrew

Andrew Jackson Elected President (1st term)
Jackson had been elected for 1822 and became the 7th president of the United states by 1824. He won over Adams by a dominate number of votes.
