    The British were coming to capture John Hancock and Samuel Adams. They had heard that they were coming and Paul Revere made his famous ride shouting "The British are coming!" A British cammander had asked the Americans to go home. They refused. Suddenly a shot rang out. It was known as "The shot heard round the World".

    The final major battle of the war. British had gone to the south. The French had the sea and the American and French had the land. The British were trapped they had no option but to surrender.
