    One of the most popular gaming consoles during the 90s following super mario bros 3 during the 80s. During the time of its launch, many thought the Nintendo had the best sound and video, though not according to its competitor the genesis console. This competition got a lot of media coverage and no doubt led to more sales.
  • Nokia

    Nokia
    The Nokia 101 was one of the bestselling phones during the 90s and was revolutionary compared to phone previously. Not only was it lighter, less bulky, and sod at a decent price, but it was made with consumers in mind. Compared to a stationary house phone or a brick phone, the Nokia phone was a huge step forward.

    DVDs / CDs
    DVDs replaced VHS tapes during the 90s making it easier to store and carry movies around. In the same fashion, CDs were used to burn mixtapes and cassettes were used instead of walkmans.

    The Tamagotchi was one of the first games with real life woven into it. It required real time attention and revolved around the owner taking care of their 'pet' teaching responsibility and care.
