    Boston Massacre
    Well in the Boston Massacre there were 5 citizens shot and killed by British soldier. The citizens were nagging the British on and telling them to fire. Some of the troops fired because they thought their commander told them to, but it was just the citizens yelling "FIRE... SHOOT.,,," things like that. You can't blame them for shooting they were a little confused.
  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
    During this time a lot of colonist were protesting against taxes.One of the major taxes was on tea. One night the colonist decided to take their protesting to it's limits. They snuck onto some British's ships dressed like Indians and dumped millions of dollars worth of tea into the boston harbor.
  • Battle of Lexington & Concord

    Warner had an idea of what the British were about to do, so he sent Revere on a quest to warn Hancock and Adams. Paul didn't know if he could be able to warn all of the citizens of boston about the British, he and some pals but lanterns around Boston. That night the British were spread out across the Boston Harbor and ready to begin their march. Revere, Dawes, and Prescott rode of into the night to warn everyone, "The red coats are coming, the red coats are coming!"
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    Battle of Bunker Hill had thousands of troops from the British and Americans. There were a bit more British soldiers than American soldiers. More like almost a thousand more. The winners are the British only, because they drove the Americans right out of Charlestown.

    The declaration was originally drafted by T.J. around June 11th, 1776. The declaration was written July 4th, 1776 and signed by T.J. ,George Washington, and some other famous men. The Declaration of Independence declares this nations freedom and Independence.
  • Battle of New York

    The British's army was twice the size of the American's. The winner of this battle would be the British only, because they ran the American's right out of New York. The British army had 20,000 troops as the Americans had 10,000. On the 27th of August the British took the Americans by suprise and began shooting. The Americans were under George Washington's command, and the British were under General Howe's command.
  • Battle of Trenton

    The Battle of Trenton was located in Trenton, New Jersey. This time the Americans had more troops than the British. The British had about 1000-1500 troops and the Americans had 2000-2500.The British were under Rall's command and the Americans were under Washington's command as usual. The winners of this battle would be, George Washington and his American troops.
  • Battle of Princeton

    A bit after entering Princeton, the Americans saw what the British left behind and began searching through it. Washington decided to leave Princeton a while later, when he found out Cornwallis was coming. When the battle was over, Cornwallis retreated to New Brunswick and requested that his troops do as well.
  • Valley Forge

    The Battle of Valley Forge began during the harsh winters of 1777. Washington and his armies were struggling to outlive the winter. The Americans were struggling, because they weren't wearing the right clothing at all for this event.
  • Battle of Saratoga

    The winners of Saratoga would be the Americans, because they got Burgoyne's armies to surrender. Saratoga is on Hudson River in New York. The American's were not that organized with their armies.
  • Battle of Yorktown

    Battle of Yorktown
    The Battle of Yorktown took place in Virginia. The French teamed up with the Americans in this battle. Washington and Rochambeau commanded the American and French. There were around 9,000 Americans and 8,000 French. So there was about 15,000 against 6,000 british troops. The Americans and French had an easy win there.

    This Treaty of Paris is the one that ended the Revolutionary War. J.Adams, J.Jay, and B.Franklin signed this Treaty. They signed this so the British would know that America is its own place and is free to be its self.
