The people in Boston where mad at Britten for taxing them. The towns people threw snow and ice balls at solders The solders fired into the mob and killed 5 colonest. Boston Tea Party
The people of Bostan threw 342 chest of tea into the bay at night. They dressed up as native Americans so no one knew who they where. The damage that they did cost 3/4 million dollars in present day money.Not a single American colonist had a cup of tea after that. -
Battle of Bunker Hill June 17, 1775
Americans attacked the British by surprise. General William made a mistake and didn't push the Americans out to sea instead he sent his solders up a hill.Americans ran out of ammoand had to retreat.The british won but they lost more men thean the americans.The British had 1,054 dead or wounded British sent three waves of men at the Americans. -

It gave the americans the hope thy needed.the americans started to retreat but Washington rode into the battle field and yelled at the men to hold there ground and not retreat. That gave the americans the extra streangth to win the battle. -

The battle ended howe's plan to split colonies in two and starve the conlies. it battle was decied by a foolish move made by a Brittish general John Burgoyne.57000 British soldiers surrendered. and the France oferd sppourt after the battle. -
Valley Forge
2000 americans died, many people also deserted the army. The shelters/tents went ventilated very well many people didn't use thembecause they got full of smoke when you tryed to heat them.Von Steuben trained the american soldiers very well. by the end of the winter Washington had a real army and not just a big milita. -
Battle of Yorktown
Washington closed in on Cornwallis at Yorktown from 3 directions. meanwhile the french navey stoped cornwallis from retreating.
