The Giants play their first game in San Francisco. The game was played at Seals Stadium and the Giants blanked their bitter rival, the Dodgers, 8-0. -
Game 7 - World Series
Batting in the bottom of the ninth of game 7 against the New York Yankees, Giant great Willie McCovey hit a sharp line drive that was snagged for out number three. The line drive would have scored Felipe Alou and Willie Mays to win the series. -
