Germany invaded Poland beacuse the Germans in the south of Poland were being killed and persecuted. Hitler made a pact with Russia they would not fight each other; they would divide Poland betweem them after they conquered it.

VE Day means victory in Europe day. This was a very important date because it was a very exciting win of the Allies over Germany. After Hitler killed himself, Germany had surrendered and signed the act of military surrender leading to millions of people celebrating all over the streets of the European countries. -
Trinity was Tested
"Trinity" was a code name for the first nuclear weapons test of the atomic bomb. It was made by the US, and they wanted to drop it on Hiroshima. It was mostly built in Pittsburgh. -

The US dropped the atomic bomb, and they nicknamed it the “Little Boy.” The bomb did not just show the power of all Americans, but it also marked the victory of the Americans over the Germans to see who would develop the first atomic weapon. -
