Canadian pilot Ernest Hoy was the first person to fly over the Rocky Mountains. His trip started in Vancouver and finished in central USA. Hoy was an army pilot, serving the Canadian military. He was born in Dauphin, Manitoba and died in Toccoa, Georgia. He was one of Canada's best captains. -

In February, the Boeing 247 was te first ever commercial airliner. This plane has a twin-wngine and has enough space for as many as 10 passengers per trip. With its eight turbojet engines, intercontinental rage and a maximum capasity of 500 000 pounds, it is considered a pretty powerful military weapon. -

Airplanes will become a daily source of transportation
In about 60 years, the world will start using smaller aircrafts as daily transportation. For example, you can stop by at Rainforest cafe in Africa, then cool down in Antarctica. It's that easy, and by that time airplanes will go really fast so it won't take long to get to the other side of the planet.
