  • Japanese soldiers cross the shenzhen river

    At 08:30 am on December 8th, 1941 about 60,000 Japanese soldiers cross the Shenzhen river after Shenzhen have already been occupied by Japan and attack Hong Kong.
  • Japanese forces broke the defense line

    Put up mainly by British, Indian, and Canadian soldiers, the Japanese break the defense line at Lap Sap Bay near Shing Mun Reservoir on 11th December 1941.
  • Japanaese Demand Surrender

    On December 13th, 1941, the Japanese demand the surrender of Hong Kong which is ignored. The Japanese then take Kowloon and the last British troops retreated to Hong Kong.

    At 3:15 PM on December 25th, 1941, Governer Young surrenders after Mt Cameron gets captured.
  • The attack of st. Stephens hostpital

    At 5:00 am on December 25th, 1941 the Japanese attack Royal rifles and capture Stanley fort. At 6:00 am on the same day, the Japanese attack st. Stephens hospital.
