Elementary School
In August of 1993, I began school at Gulfview Elementary. -
Began playing trumpet
In August of 1998, I began my trumpet playing career. I bought a $250 Conn Student Model Bb.(Shown in picture) -
Middle School
In August of 2000, I began Middle School in Long Beach, MS. I played trumpet in the advanced band. -
Bought a new trumpet
During my 9th grade year, I bought a King Silver Flair Bb trumpet.(Shown in picture) -
High School
In August of 2002, I began High School in Long Beach, MS. I was a member of the marching band, jazz band, concert band, and show choir band. -
Spirit
In the summer of 2005, I marched with Spirit Drum and Bugle Corps. -
JSU
In August of 2006, I attended Jacksonville State University. My major is Music Education, and I was a member of their marching band, The Marching Southerners. I was also a member of a local Jazz Band in Jacksonville, as well as a vocalist for a praise band. -
MGCCC
In August of 2007, I attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College JD Campus. They did not have a music program, so I only spent 1 semester there. -
PJC
In January of 2008, I attended Pensacola Junior College. My major remained Music Education, and I was a member of the concert band, jazz band, brass quintet, and Pensacola Civic Band. -
USA
Finally, in January of 2009, I found the college in which I will graduate. -
Bought another new trumpet.
In May of 2009, I attended the International Trumpet Guild Conference in Harrisburg, PA, where I bought a Sonare 800 Professional Bb Trumpet.(Shown in picture) -
USA Music
In the Fall of 2009, the USA Music Department began its first ever marching band, the Jaguar Marching Band, and I became one of the trumpet section leaders of the band. -
ITG Australia
In the summer of 2010, I performed at the International Trumpet Guild Conference in Sydney, Australia with the USA Trumpet Ensemble.
