Goerge Burrington hastned across the atlantic to convice the Crown to appoint him the first royal govener of North Carolina -

Burrington recived is comesion in January. However he had to wait nearly a year for his instructions. Something that also happended in the 1730s was that the board wanted to bind th colonies and England together in one large empire. -

The British summoned representitives from the colonies to meet with the Iroquois leader to discuss mesure for mutual deffense and also in 1754 the Seven Year War broke out. -
