On December 26 Washington lead 2,400 men across the Delawere River to catch the hessins off-guard. After the battle Washington had to pay to keep 1,300 men still inlisted. -

When the continental army won the battle of Trenton it made more people join and made the britsh more angry. The british lead a attack to go for the base but washington circled around and won. -
Battle of Saratoga
The generals in the north were going to trap the Americans, but Howe didnt get then message soon enoughf. Which lead to the British surenduring there. -
Valley Forge
Washington had his men make a camp in an area that they called Valley Forge. This would let them eep an eye on the British forces, plus the Americans were not equied with the best clothes or food. -
Battle of Yorktown
General Cornwallis fortified himself in Yorktown with 7,400 men. The combined forces of the Americans on French Traped him and made him surrender. -
Treaty of Paris
The diplomats of Adams, Franklin, and Jay went to Paris to sign the treaty to end the war. This also alowed them to go and build all the way to the Mississippi River.
