Boston Massacre
This event was an attack on unarmed american civilians. An angry mob was roaming the streets of Boston and they wher mad at the british. They where yelling at the British soldiers and without the command the British soldiers shot and killed 5 Americans. This act fueled the flame that would start a revolution. -
Boston Tea Party
The Boston tea party was a huge act of vandalism. The Americans where mad about the tax on tea so they went to Boston Harbor and dumped almost $1,000,000 worth of tea. -

The decloration of Independence was approved by the continental congress on July 4th 1776. This document went on to motivate the american forces. Later july 4th became a holiday known as Independance day. -

This battle was taken place in the winter months which was unusual because that was kind of a rest time for wars, but Washington crossed the frozen delaware river to attack the Hessians. It was an easy victory the battle was over in minutes.This Battle was won by the americans and it greatly boosted there morale. -

The Americans won this battle by pretty much out manuvering the British. This battle showed the world that Americans could hold there own against the British. -

Valley Forge was a winter camp for washingtons troops they where fighting small pox and they wern't properly clothed. When they came out of valley forge they where a well trianed army because Baron Fredrich Von Steuben's training. -
Battle of Yorktown
After Cornwallis leader of the British army lost the Carolinas he siezed yorktown. Not to long after that more French reinforcments showed up and George Washington was able to take yorktown back.The Americans won this battle with the help of there French allies. -
Treaty of Paris (the one that ended the Revolutionary War)
The Treaty of Paris terms made the British recognize that the americnas where independent. it also made them withdraw there troops from america.
