    This is the start of the 7 Years' War. This was is also called "the true first world war."

    Ensign de Jumonville and a third of his army were killed by British militia. In revenge the French and Indians kill one third of Washington's force and gets them to surrender.

    The British officially declare war on the French, war spreads to Europe, Africa, the West Indies , and the ocean

  • Rising Colonial Support

    Treaty of Easton is signed and the British take control of the Forks of the Ohio.

  • Quebec

    the British force the French to surrender Quebec after a battle on the Plains of Abraham.

  • The Fall of New France

    The French reinforcements arrived too late to help the garnison there. It fell under military occupation and rule of the British.

  • treaty of Paris

    The Treaty of Paris ends the war between Britain and France.

  • The war ends

    King George III signs the Proclamation of 1763 reserving land west of the Allegheny Mountains for Indians
